Dr. Lesley has more than 20 years’ experience in M&E and capacity development in the Asia-Pacific area. Her more recent M&E assignments have included: (i) Developing learning materials for the Pacific MEL Diploma; (ii) training for PNG fisheries staff in M&E; (iii) two final evaluations for UNESCAP climate change programmes in Southeast Asia; (iii) a review of ADB Climate Change Framework; (iv) development of UNDP Bangladesh urban poverty Logical Framework, Theory of Change and monitoring templates; (iv) 3-year report on Rakhine refugees in Bangladesh for IFRC; and (i) M&E training for Tajikistan Ministry of Climate Change and for PNG Government climate change staff (ADB).
Dr. Lesley is a senior M&E, capacity-building, planning, and gender consultant. She has worked for most major donors in Asia, including extensively in Indonesia, as well as in PNG, Nigeria, UAE, Malaysia, Thailand and Afghanistan on rural development, gender, health, skills development and education programmes. Lesley’s M&E and capacity development knowledge and experience spans the very strategic to the more practical, and from national to district level.
Dr. Lesley worked in Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, Bangladesh, Thailand, Tajikistan, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, Solomon Islands, Fiji, UAE, Qatar, Nigeria, China, the Philippines and Afghanistan.
