Mr M Sharif-Ur-Raman obtained a Master’s in Computer Science from MICROLAND; Masters in Disaster Management from Department of Geography and Environment, the University of Dhaka; and Post-graduation Diploma in Monitoring Evaluation and Learning, Distance learning from Edupro UK.

He has over 25 years of experience as an MEAL Specialist, ICT and MIS Specialist working with UNICEF, UNDP, and GoB funded different projects and programs and privet sectors.

Information Management Officer with over 18  years of experience in the development sector, focusing on GIS mapping, data analysis, and  programme management, highly skilled in data  collection, analysis, and  visualization through the use of MySQL, Power BI, and Tableau, ONA and Kobo toolbox.

Currently serving as Information Management Officer for UNICEF Cox’s Bazar Field Office in Bangladesh, I oversee programme monitoring, reporting, and evaluation. I also co-lead data analysis, assessments and result-based monitoring (RBM) for different programmatic areas including Education, Child Protection, Health, Nutrition, WASH and SBC in support of office resource mobilization efforts.

With extensive experience in programme performance planning and monitoring, I ensure programmatic progress and results are in compliance with  donor  agreements and  organizational regulations, while leading the efforts in establishing and maintaining office Knowledge Management products and evidence for programme effectiveness.

Also serve as Government Liaison coordinating partnerships between UNICEF and Upazila Administration, District Commissioner’s office, line ministries and departments, Camp In-charges offices and Refugee Relief and Repatriation Commissioners’ Offices for programme implementation.
