Narrative Description of Project:

The RWASH Information System provides a continuous flow of information on access to WASH across the Solomon Islands. It enables reporting against RWASH National Development Targets (and therefore reporting of progress against SDG 6 – ‘Ensure availability and sustainable management of water and sanitation for all’). It also provides additional data on village, health facility and school access  to WASH to inform planning decisions at national, provincial and village level, and for lesson learning on interventions. This is of particular importance as the RWASH Office looks to increase its oversight role, increasing the contracting out of RWASH projects, alongside continuing to directly implement programmes.
